No, I’m not talking about Doctor Who, you silly pants out there. I’m talking about that one show with the young doctor interns and their hi-jinx! Zach Braff (If I got the spelling of his name right) and friends teamed up to make a show about young doctors. Oh Scrubs, you are amazing.

It’s not a super serious show, but it does have it’s moments. What makes the show so awesome is the chemistry and relationship between all the characters. You have JD, Turk and Elliot all starting their internship on the same day and trying to make it in the crazy, sleepless internships. JD and Turk are best friends and Turk falls for Carla the nurse while JD falls for Elliot (Elliot being the name of one of the main girls, not to be confused with Elliot from E.T.).

JD has the best daydreams, they’re hilarious. Elliot has a streak of bad luck through out a lot of the series, such as ruining her nursing scrubs and having to get some out of a vending machine, only to find out she has no money. So she has to borrow these creepy sewn up clothes from the Janitor. Who has no name until the very end of the series.

It’s stuff like that that makes the series so awesome. Of course, there was a season after the original cast but it did really badly with fans (including me) and wasn’t nearly as funny.

Let’s hope they do some sort of reunion show, because Scrubs has been one of my favorite shows of all time.

I’ve been on a huge Gordon Ramsay kick lately. If you don’t know who Gordon Ramsay is, you’ve certainly been living under a rock! He’s an incredibly famous chef and restaurantuer (if that’s such a word!). He’s known for cooking television shows such as Hell’s Kitchen, and Kitchen Nightmares.

To be really honest, my fiance and I have been watching a ton of Kitchen Nightmares! It’s been a super fun show. I know a lot of it has to do with the way the American television crew edit the show, but still. It’s incredibly fun.

Kitchen Nightmares is about Gordon Ramsay coming into restaurants that are doing horribly, in the brink of bankruptcy and disaster. Many of the owners of restaurants are in debt, have taken out several restaurant loans and have even put new mortgages on their own houses. Some of them have even sold their houses and cars! That’s absolutely horrifying.

He takes these restaurants and completely flips them around. At the end of the week, it’s up to the owners of the restaurant to see the restaurant through and make it a success. Sometimes they do shut down. But it’s really satisfying when they pull through.

I went to our local mall today and did a ton of shopping with the Christmas gifts friends and relatives gave me. How, you may ask? With gift cards and coupons! I got a ton of them for Christmas and for New Years, and I haven’t had the time to use them up until now. Such is the life of the busy designer and waitress. Oh my!

To the local mall, I went. In search of amazing goodies. I bought a lot of things at Best Buy, but not anything amazing. I wanted a 3DS and an iPad, but I definitely don’t have enough money for that. I’m hoping to get a credit card soon, though! That will help. I went into other stores where I had gift cards and coupons, like to Hot Topic with a gift card and Guess with my guess coupons. I purchased some clothes and cheap bead necklaces. I’m feeling like a fancy pants!

Thanks to everyone who gave me amazing Christmas gifts like the gift cards and coupons. I prefer getting those, than getting a gift that you aren’t sure I’ll like. At least this way I’m able to buy what I want from a particular store or outlet, so it works.

So January is here, it’s now 2012. I can’t believe time is flying by so fast! How did you guys spend your Christmas, Hanuka or other holidays? How did you spend your New Years? I spent my New Years at home with my lovely, and my room mates. It was very casual and chill. We had a few drinks, watched some shows, had some nice food. It was all pretty casual and calm. But then we got to thinking about our careers.

What about your career? I was looking on Craigslist and other sites, not to mention looking at newspapers and such for career ideas. I saw entries for Medical Secretaries Jobs, and medical billing and coding people. But I wasn’t sure if that was the path for me. What’s your path? Have you figure it out yet? I haven’t figure out my path yet.

But it’s never too late to find out. You are never too old to try to figure out what you want, and you are never a failure if you decide to change who you are. Changes are good! With that, I’ll say “Peace Out” and enjoy my dinner.

So, Apple released the iPhone 4S a few weeks ago and I never talked about it! So much for being an ultra nerd, right?

They announced it in the beginning of October and people were for some reason really disappointed. I don’t understand why they were disappointed though? The iPhone 4S is a very solid update. It has an amazing camera for video and still photos, with better color and light detection and stabilization! That’s freaking fantastic on a phone. Not to mention the parts got upgrades too, including the antennas. The form factor remains the same but who cares? I think that’s why everyone was depressed or unhappy about the upgrade, there was no new form factor. But again, whoop dee doo!

And the price cuts, holy crap! The iPhone 4 is just a hundred dollars! And the iPhone 3GS is FREE! I think everyone’s going to flock to the new low prices, it’ll be a lot of peoples’ first iPhones. Look forward to Christmas, people! Ha! The cool thing is that since the iPhone 3G is free, there’s going to be a ton of accessories available probably at a discount as well! Things like iphone 3gs cases, car plugs, stereos, speakers, headphones and other things. I think this is a possible amazing turn for Apple and their iPhones.

Go out and check out the new phone!

I’m not a huge fan of smoking, I don’t particularly like the smell or the taste of it. But I know a lot of people out there, men, women, and what have you (aliens?) smoke. What are you experiences with smoking? Do you have any relatives that smoke? Are you a fan, or a hater? Who in your life, if anyone has changed your perception of smoking?

I had a lot of people that smoked in my life. Mother, uncles, aunts, what have you. I didn’t like it because they’d box in the smoke. Boxing in is when you sit in your car with the windows rolled up and smoke. Unfortunately I was in the car with them. Imagine being a little kid, inside all that stinky, awful smoke?

For those of you that do smoke, do you prefer cigarettes or cigars? My mom’s husband prefers cigars, so places like daily cigar deals really appeal to him. Would you buy cigarettes or cigars from a web site? Have you heard of the electronic ones? Those are amazing! They don’t stink and aren’t bad for you at all.

I’m sad to say that I will be out of town on Mother’s Day, so I cannot spend it with people. But for those of you out there that want to spend mothers day with their family, and get them a few gifts, I have tips for you!

It doesn’t have to be fancy at all! You can take the family out for a special dinner in celebration. Or, the more traditional way, you can order flower delivery for that special mother in your life! Be it your wife and her new born, or your ma, or grandma, you can do this!

Pro Flowers is an amazing website that even right now at this late of an hour, you can order quick mothers day delivery for her! The website is beautifully crafted, bright and clean to look at! Not to mention that the amazing sales they’re having is wonderful, as well! If I weren’t trying to save for a car and stuff like that, I’d easily buy some of their beautiful bouquets! As for now, I’ll stick to the local stores’ flowers, okay? Nothing personal!

Remember my recent post talking about looking for health insurance? Well, I just recently went into Walgreen’s and found that they had Blue Cross health insurance cards! Cards! As in, you pay for like a month of health insurance like a gift card, and give it to someone to use! Or at least that’s how I think it works!

Blue Cross and Blue Shield is in a lot of states, for example in Florida and North Carolina. If you’re looking for health insurance, I’d suggest googling your city or state, and then Blue Cross. I’m sure you’ll find plenty of information! And if you live in a big city like we do, you can find some cards in Walgreen’s! Isn’t that amazing?

Remember in a previous blog post that I mentioned I went shopping? Well, I told you guys that I bought shoes, too! I have some really awesome shoes, from some of the great brands out there! And when I say great brands, I essentially mean brands that I consider great. Not exactly the most expensive or high class, but they’re an epic find none the less!

For example, I recently found some flats from American Eagle shoes at Payless! I also fell in love with easy spirit shoes! They’re gorgeous, if a bit pricey. I also love boots! I finally got my first pair of boots recently! They were from Sears and are super comfortable!

If you’re looking for shoes and you’re really on the cheap side, or you’re on the “I can’t spend money or I can’t pay for bills!” side, then I’d highly consider going to Sears, or Marshalls, or Payless! Hell, I went shopping for shoes at Goodwill recently! I found a ton of amazing shoes there for almost nothing! It was pretty crazy!

So, I really need someone to explain to me how health insurance works. Not health insurance per se, but how stuff like government insurance works? I know that people in France and Canada, for example, get everything paid for. But how does American government health insurance work?

Why so many different names? I think they’re for different circumstances. I can’t even begin to understand how the different naming works! Like Medicare part D plans, for example. What’s the difference between D, and say A? Do old people have to pay for stuff? I think these are important things to be explained! I feel that when you’re born, you should get like some almighty, knowing being that you can just call or look over at and be like “Dude, what’s this mean?” And they’d explain it to you.

A lot of stuff now a days you have to fend for yourself, or if you’re in Miami, there are a lot of corrupt people. So they’ll tell you only what benefits them, to get your business. I wish there were some magical neutral person to help you with no matter what questions you have, or what situation you’re in.

And no, I’m not talking about God. Yeesh.
