Once upon a time, I used to love reading books. My vision hasn’t been doing all that well lately, so I’ve had to step away from reading novels.

Stephen King, Anne Rice, Robert Jordan… Oh man. I used to read like a beast. Anyone remember The Phantom Tollbooth? Possibly one of my favorite books of all time. I’d still read it if I could, despite being a children’s book. I saw the movie (from the sixties, but they’re remaking it so I hear. but what isn’t being remade nowadays?), and it was pretty fun. Animated musical.

Not the best songs in the world, either. But still.

Do you read? What kind of books or magazines do you like reading?

I’m not much of a car fanatic. When I go out with friends in their cars, we’ll stop at a red light. Sometimes they’ll point out “Ooh, I love that model!” or “I love that 2006 line up!” and I’m sitting there twiddling my thumbs.

Genuinely not a car fanatic at all. I’m down right confused when people are able to recognize car models and such. Maybe it’s because I’ve never had an interest in it, or maybe because my vision stinks to high heaven so I never bother with details like that. But I dunno.

My friend can tell the difference between stuff like when a car was released, what parts were in it. I couldn’t ever tell you the difference between say Ferrari parts and Toyota parts. I have no clue. Some people are just really into that sort of thing as a hobby, I can’t be bothered.

What kind of “Normal” hobbies do you find absolutely boring, or you just can’t get into? Let me know!

Is that even correct to say? Face Washes? Plural for that? I’m not sure at all. Someone please clarify that for me!

But back onto my point. I used to use this face wash that would leave my skin uber smooth, like a baby’s butt. It was wonderful. The face wash had an apricot or peach extract (I can’t remember which, damned if I know, it’s been a few years). And boy, was that stuff amazing.

I went into Walgreens and I saw a ton of acne face wash products with fruit extracts, and almond and jojoba oils. That’s insane! Ten years ago, we had crappily named products for acne, and they never smelled that great. Damn scientists and marketers.

What do you use to wash your face with? Does it smell nearly as good as something fruity? Does it make your face all clean and pretty? Lemme know!
